Michael Hatzakis, M.D., Physiatrist

Dr. Hatzakis is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Doctors in Physical Medicine are also called Physiatrists and focus on improving function and quality of life.

He graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering where he went on to receive a Masters of Engineering degree. He completed the Post-baccalaureate Pre-medical Program at Columbia University.

Mandy Tapp, L.M.P., Massage Therapist

Mandy graduated from Cambridge College’s School of Massage in 2007, with valedictorian status. Before massage she earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Washington.

Mandy uses a variety of pressures, stretching techniques, kinetic/core exercises, and modalities: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy; to which she will tailor to the clients’ needs and wants. She enjoys learning new methods and techniques; she feels the more knowledge and training she has, the better she will be able to effectively treat the needs of the patient, so they can return to their functional lives.
