Leah graduated massage school in 2013, and the DFA program in 2014, and has a BA in Anthropology and Women’s Studies from Skidmore College. All of these studies inform her approach to the body; physical symptoms are one piece of the puzzle. This insight came from her personal experience with rehab. So she uses history, recent trauma, posture, habits, and physical symptoms to help all her clients make change. She also believes that change comes as much from increased awareness and self care as bodywork. This means she sees herself as working with her clients on each of their road to recovery. Lastly, while this process is can be challenging, it should never hurt!
In her free time, Leah loves to cook, knit, read, dance, and enjoy the outdoors. She loves tea and coffee, dogs and cats, but plans on getting a kitten in the near future.
