Your evaluation will start with an assessment of your current fitness level by a qualified fitness trainer. Based on your results, we’ll design a customized program to help you achieve your fitness goals. The testing includes:
- A health screening and cardiovascular risk profile
- Blood pressure and heart rate screening
- Body composition testing or calculation (Body Mass Index)
- Cardiovascular endurance testing using ASCM protocal
Our fitness trainer may recommend physical activity and including recommendations on aerobic exercise, strength training and flexibility. Consistent with the 2008 Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, *ACSM’s overall recommendation is for most adults to engage in at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise each week.
